Dr. Daney originally graduated from Madras Dental College – India with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree in 1992. She later came to the United States and attended Boston University - Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine earning her DMD degree in 1997. She has been in private practice in Maryland since. Dr. Daney is also a member of The American Dental Association and The Maryland Dental Association

Over the past several years Dr. Daney has attended many seminars and other continuing education courses in order to stay current on advances in the field of dentistry. She has dedicated herself to the art and science of general and cosmetic dentistry to help her patients create the smile of their dreams. Dr. Daney keeps her patients best interest in mind and treats each and everyone with kindness, and compassion. She is gentle and patient in her treatment of children and adults alike and her patients often call her “Dr. Gentle”.

Dr. Daney also enjoys teaching and playing with her two young children, being a loving mother and wife, and watching movies.

Dr. Blathers is our staff Oral Surgeon. She has considerable experience in extractions, preprosthetic surgery, implants and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Blathers is a 1997 graduate of the Howard University, School of Dentistry. She completed her oral surgery training in 2001 and has been in private practice since then.

Doctor Brain was born in Quantico, VA and raised in Lima, Peru, where he grew up. He speaks fluent Spanish. He graduated from the University of Maryland Dental School in 1991 with a DDS degree and received The Quintessence Award for Clinical Achievement in Periodontics. After receiving an officer commission in the U.S. Navy Dental Corp, he attended a one year General Practice Residency, and worked as a general dentist for 4 years. He graduated from a 3 year Residency in Periodontics at Bethesda Naval PostGraduate School in 1999, and obtained Diplomate status by the American Board of Periodontology in 2000. He voluntarily separated from the Navy in 2002, and lives in Bethesda, MD.

Sweet and calm, Nazzi has a smile to brighten anyone's day and her smile will tell you she is genuinely glad to see you! With over 7 years experience as a Dental Office Manager, Nazzi has a wealth of knowledge about Dentistry and Dental Insurance. She has a diploma in Medical Office Management and received her Bachelor of Arts in Literature in 1996. She is also a member of American Association of Dental Office Managers. She is certified in the National Registry of Allied Health. She educates all patients about their treatment plan and informs them about their dental insurance coverage and options. Nazzi is goal oriented and her thirst for knowledge drives her to take continuing education classes on a regular basis to better server our patients. She is an immense asset to our growing practice and patients alike.

Nazzi also enjoys playing with her young son, and being a caring wife and loving mother.

Heather will be the smiling face who will you seat you and our patients appreciate the feeling of comfort provided by Heather. She is X-Ray Certified and Certified in Expanded Functions from the Sate of Maryland and a graduate from Augusta State University with a Bachelor of Arts. She is very knowledgeable and has an engaging personality that will capture your attention quickly. She plays an active role in educating our patients about their procedures and spends most of her time furthering her knowledge and updating our web site to better serve our patients. She is an immense asset to our growing practice and patients alike.

Heather also enjoys being a loving wife and is an award winning professional photographer who brings her own artistic flare here to Maryland Dental.
